Why Do We Exist? Our purpose is to Grow Relationships, Build Disciples, and Share God's love with our neighbors, our community, our city, and beyond.  When someone mentions the word Church, what's the first thing that comes to mind? For most people it's a building of some sort. A steeple or some stained glass windows. The word Church according to the Bible is a reference to the PEOPLE of God, the body of Christ, people who have received the gift of salvation through God's grace. We are a church with a purpose... and a body on a mission. This is not your conventional church, it's a place where you'll find people who love God and our neighbors, people from all walks of life. We're a group, a body under construction who are learning to follow in the foot steps of Jesus Christ. Following those steps includes reaching out into our community where the hurting are hiding. We want others to know and see God, and experience the freedom that He offers. We invite you to come by and join us, check out this family for yourself and experience the Church the way we believe it should be. Pastor's BlogServices April 15 God's Lock-Tight Sunday, April 15th we're rolling into a new series that we're calling "God's Lock-Tight".
Sunday services begin at 10:31am. Our HeBrews Coffee Bar starts flowing at 9:30am. Come in, grab a cup
and meet the family. HLFC has cancelled our Wednesday Evening Service until further notice. My heart's desire is that you will use
this time or some other appointed time throughout the week and invite people into your home. It's called "FELLOWSHIP"
and that act fulfills one of the purposes of the church. Sometimes just firing up the grill and sharing a burger
or hot dog can draw someone closer to Christ. You can also use the time to invite people in who are not connected. When
you reach out to others that fulfills another purpose of the church... "EVANGELISM". We love you and
want all to know that this Pastor will be doing the same! Let's all reach out and love someone! |
What's inside this church? 
A Cross Denomination of people who represent life today. We're a blended family that continues to
reach across our streets, out into our neighborhoods, and then extending out into our world."But my life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus--the work of telling others the Good News about God's wonderful kindness and love."
